My name is Mady, and this is my fourth year on staff. In addition to writing for the Lions’ Roar, I play varsity/travel softball and work at Starbucks. Country music is my favorite genre, and I love Morgan Wallen and Tate McRae.

My name is Sloan, and this is my third year on staff. In my free time I work at Target, play softball, basketball, and I love to hangout with my friends. I love Taylor Swift and all rap or pop music!

My name is Cooper, and this is my fourth year on staff. In my free time I like to write, hang out with friends, or practice my photography. I am a member of SLHS Theatre, and I love listening to bands from the 90s Grunge era.

My name is Bre, and this is my second year on staff. In addition to newspaper, I love reading, running xc and listening to Alex Warren’s music.

My name is Nathan, and I am a copy writer for the Lions’ Roar. This is my first year officially on staff and second contributing to the paper. In addition to writing for the newspaper, I am the Student Council President, the Co-President of SL’s Creative Writing Club, a Varsity Tennis captain, a member of the National Honor Society, and the Editor-in-Chief for the Yearbook.

My name is Logan, and this is my second year on staff. On top of writing for the Lions’ Roar, I dance competitively, study Japanese, and eat way too much Culvers’. I’m super excited for another great year of writing!

My name is Luke, and this is my first year on staff. I take all your favorite photos and stories for the paper. I do theatre (come see me on stage), debate, free writing, and various other clubs! I like reading, writing, and taking photos.
